1. SUMMARY
ORBIT JUMPER is a single-player game with an online high-score leaderboard. We never ask you to create an account, and we never ask for your name, email address, phone number, physical address, or payment details.
Your game progress is stored on your own device. Three things leave it: anonymous usage analytics, advertising identifiers used to serve rewarded ads, and — if you submit a score — your chosen player name and score, which are stored in a database we operate and shown publicly on the leaderboard.
We do not sell your personal information.
2. INFORMATION THE GAME STORES ON YOUR DEVICE
The following is saved locally and is not transmitted to us, except where section 4 applies:
- Your player name. You choose this yourself. It is sent to the leaderboard only when a score is submitted (see section 4).
- Game progress: coins, gems, high score, orbits, level reached, unlocked ships, trails, skills, achievements, and Orbital Pass progress.
- Your settings: language, audio, haptics, and whether reminders are enabled.
- Purchase entitlements — which gem packs have been credited to you.
Because Android Auto Backup is enabled, a copy of this local data may also be included in your device's backup to your personal Google Drive. That backup belongs to your Google account and is governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours. We have no access to it. You can disable it in your device settings under System > Backup.
3. INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY
3.1 ADVERTISING — Google AdMob
ORBIT JUMPER shows rewarded ads and rewarded interstitial ads only — video ads you choose to watch in exchange for an in-game reward. The game does not show banner ads, and it does not show unskippable interstitials between runs.
When an ad is requested, Google AdMob may collect and process:
- Your Android Advertising ID (a resettable identifier)
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Device information: model, operating system version, language, region
- Ad interaction data: impressions, completions, and rewards earned
This is used to serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud.
You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization entirely, in your device settings under Settings > Google > Ads. Because every ad in ORBIT JUMPER is optional, declining to watch them means no ad request is made at all.

3.2 ANALYTICS — Google Firebase Analytics
We collect anonymous, aggregated usage data to understand how the game is played. This includes:
- A randomly generated app instance identifier, not linked to your identity
- Device model, operating system version, country, and language
- Gameplay events such as: a run starting, a score being submitted, a new high score, a ship or trail being unlocked or selected, and a purchase completing
We do not use analytics to identify you individually, and we do not combine it with advertising data to build a profile of you.
3.3 PURCHASES — Google Play Billing
ORBIT JUMPER sells consumable gem packs through Google Play. Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or receive your payment card, bank details, or billing address. The game receives only a confirmation that a specific product was purchased, so it can credit the gems you bought.

4. THE ONLINE LEADERBOARD — DATA WE HOLD
This is the one place where ORBIT JUMPER differs from a fully offline game, so we describe it in detail.
To rank scores globally, the game uses Google Firebase services operated under our own Firebase project:
4.1 ANONYMOUS SIGN-IN
The game signs in to Firebase Authentication anonymously. This creates a random user identifier (a UID) that is not connected to your Google account, your email, or your name. Its only purpose is so that a later score from the same device replaces your previous entry instead of creating a duplicate.
4.2 WHAT IS UPLOADED
When a score is submitted, the following record is written to our Cloud Firestore database:
- the anonymous UID described above
- the player name you chose
- your score, your number of orbits, and the highest level you reached
- the time of submission
Nothing else is uploaded. No device identifier, no IP-derived location, and no advertising ID is stored in this record.
4.3 THIS DATA IS PUBLIC
Leaderboard entries are shown to every other player in the game. Choose a player name you are comfortable showing publicly, and do not use your real name, your email address, or anything else that identifies you.
4.4 THIS IS THE ONE THING WE CAN DELETE FOR YOU
Unlike everything else in this policy, this record sits in a database we control. Write to us at the address in section 11 with the player name shown on the leaderboard and we will remove the entry.
5. OPTIONAL FEATURES YOU CONTROL
5.1 GOOGLE PLAY GAMES SERVICES
If you sign in to Google Play Games, the game can unlock achievements on your Play Games profile and submit scores to Play Games leaderboards. Play Games is operated by Google under its own privacy policy. You can sign out or manage your Play Games data at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/
5.2 REMINDER NOTIFICATIONS
The game can schedule local reminders about daily missions and your leaderboard standing. These are generated on your device by Android's alarm scheduler — no message is sent from us, and no data leaves your device to produce them. They can be turned off in the game's settings, or by revoking the notification permission in your device settings.
5.3 DISCORD
The game contains a link to our community Discord server. Opening it leaves the game and takes you to a service operated by Discord Inc., governed by its own privacy policy at https://discord.com/privacy. We receive no information about you from Discord.
6. PERMISSIONS THE APP REQUESTS
Requested directly by the game:
- INTERNET — load ads, submit and fetch leaderboard scores, and process purchases. The game itself is playable without a connection.
- VIBRATE — haptic feedback during play. Can be turned off in Settings.
- MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS — manage audio focus so game sound behaves correctly alongside other apps.
- BILLING — offer in-app purchases through Google Play.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS — show the optional reminders described in section 5.2. Android asks you for this at runtime, and declining it costs you nothing else in the game.
Added automatically by the Google SDKs the game embeds (AdMob, Play Games, Play Billing, Firebase). We list them because they appear in the app's manifest, even though we do not use them directly:
- AD_ID — read the Android Advertising ID, used by AdMob (section 3.1).
- ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS — Android Privacy Sandbox APIs used by the ads SDK for privacy-preserving ad measurement.
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — detect whether the device is online.
- WAKE_LOCK and FOREGROUND_SERVICE — used by Google Play services components while an ad or a sign-in flow is active.
- BIND_GET_INSTALL_REFERRER_SERVICE — lets Google Play tell the analytics SDK which campaign an install came from.
None of these grant access to your personal content.
The game does NOT request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files, precise location, SMS, or call history.
7. CHILDREN
ORBIT JUMPER is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information — in practice, a player name on the leaderboard — contact us at the address in section 11 and we will remove it.
8. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
- Local progress: clear the app's data in your device settings, or uninstall the game.
- Leaderboard entry: we hold this, and we will delete it on request — see section 4.4. It otherwise remains until replaced by a later score from the same device.
- Advertising data: reset or delete your Advertising ID in your device settings under Settings > Google > Ads.
- Analytics data: uninstalling the app stops all collection. Google retains aggregated analytics according to its own retention schedule.
- Play Games achievements: managed through your Google Play Games profile.
9. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the legal bases we rely on are: your consent (for advertising), and our legitimate interest in operating, securing and improving the game (for anonymous analytics and for running the leaderboard).
If you are in Brazil, these rights are provided under the LGPD. If you are in California, under the CCPA/CPRA — note that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in that law.
The leaderboard record described in section 4 is the only personal data we hold ourselves. Everything else is handled through the controls in section 8 or through your Google account. For anything else, contact us at the address in section 11.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy as the game changes. The effective date at the top of this document will be updated, and the current version will always be available at this URL. Material changes will be announced in the game's release notes on Google Play.
